| Devon, Desert Goddess 04/27/08 Hi my name is Devon (pronounced Devin). I've been belly dancing for 5+ years now. I taken other dance classes such as Jazz and Ballet when I was younger, and I've always had rhythm ;-) I love belly dance!! It's my passion even if I can't dedicate all the time I want to the habit . . I mean hobby!! I've been teaching Tribal Fusion Belly Dance (for hobbyists) at WNC for three years now. I first started learning from a beautiful and talented woman named Sazi Mari. Unfortunately she couldn't make the drive to Carson City from Bishop for long. So Jessa and I started a practice group which over time became a full blown class! I've recently been very interested in spinning poi and bought myself a set in January '07. I pretty much have them with me where I go, in case I have a chance to practice. I love to dance at drum circles and will occasionally perform on stage.
